Our team of emergency vets and veterinary nurses are all highly experienced, qualified and skilled in the critical care of your pet. Our facility is shared with a team of specialist vet surgeons and physicians, and together, we provide support to local vet hospitals at all hours of the day and night. We endeavour to provide the highest quality of veterinary care and assistance at all times.
Northside Emergency Veterinary Service is equipped to deal with all kinds of animal emergencies, including tick paralysis, trauma (such as being hit by a car), poisoning, collapse, and breathing difficulties. Our new purpose-built modern animal hospital was opened by Prime Minister Tony Abbott in 2015.
Located in Terrey Hills, the Northside Emergency clinic is equipped with a surgical theatre, intensive care unit (ICU), digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We also possess up-to-date diagnostic, pathology, and monitoring machines to provide a timely assessment of your pet’s condition.
Local veterinarians may refer your pet to our clinic for a consultation outside of business hours. We are happy to see your pet after hours for emergencies or to continue treatment. Many vets recommend transferring your pet to our animal hospital for overnight or weekend care.
