Open 365 days of the year, Northside Emergency Veterinary Service is a modern, after-hours emergency vet hospital run by a co-operative of 29 leading Sydney vets.

At the Northside Emergency clinic, we work in conjunction with your regular vet to provide emergency and after-hours vet care and the expertise that your pet needs outside of normal business hours.

Emergency Vet Care for Your Pet

Unfortunately, emergencies can happen at any time. If your pet needs emergency vet care outside of business hours, you can turn to Northside Emergency Veterinary Service.

We are a dedicated 24-hour vet hospital equipped to deal with all kinds of animal emergencies, including tick paralysis, trauma (such as being hit by a car), poisoning, collapse, and breathing difficulties.

Located in Terrey Hills, the Northside Emergency clinic is equipped with a surgical theatre, intensive care unit (ICU), digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy. We also possess up-to-date diagnostic, pathology, and monitoring machines to provide a timely assessment of your pet’s condition.

Highly Experienced and Skilled Emergency Vets

Our team of emergency vets and veterinary nurses are all highly experienced, qualified and skilled in the critical care of your pet. We endeavour to provide the highest quality of veterinary care and assistance at all times.

To maximise the usage of our world-class vet hospital, Northside Veterinary Specialists – a team of specialist vet surgeons and physicians – also share our facility. Together, we are able to provide support to local vet hospitals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After-Hours Vet Referrals

Veterinarians on Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches may refer your pet to our vet clinic for a consultation outside of business hours. If treatment is already underway, they may recommend transferring your pet to our animal hospital for overnight or weekend care.
